ABC Culture Center

Cambodia–Japan cultural exchange project

A shared future starts with hello.

At ABC Bunka Center, we believe culture comes alive when people meet. A conversation, a shared story, a piece of music: small moments can become lasting friendships.

We’re developing a vision for a cultural center in Cambodia, connected with Japan through a sister-center relationship. Our hope is to create a welcoming place where people can share their cultures, learn from one another, and discover what they can build together.

Learning goes both ways

We want to create a welcoming atmosphere where Cambodians can learn about Japan and its people, and Japanese people can learn about Cambodia and its people. Through language, everyday life, art, music, and shared stories, we hope to deepen understanding, build friendships, and create new possibilities together.

Looking ahead, we hope to create opportunities for Japanese sponsors to support individual Cambodians studying Japanese in Siem Reap, where we plan to establish our first office in Cambodia.

Where we are today

The project is taking shape. We have a connection on the ground in Cambodia, and we are exploring the practical steps toward making this vision a reality. Details of the center, its operation, and its opening will be shared as they are confirmed.

A place for your encouragement

Thank you for taking an interest in this journey. As the project develops, we hope to offer opportunities for voluntary contributions and sponsorship. Before accepting funds, we will explain who will manage them, what they will support, and how progress will be reported. Donations and sponsorship will be presented separately.

For now, we invite you to discover the idea and watch it grow. Every lasting friendship begins somewhere. Ours begins with hello.
